Material Thickness Gauge Sauter TN 80-0.01US

The Sauter TN material thickness gauge is designed for measuring the thickness of hard and homogeneous uncoated materials such as metal, glass, and hard plastics. The measurement is based on pulse-echo ultrasonic technology and is not suitable for porous materials such as concrete, asphalt, Teflon, or wood. The device can store up to 100 measurements per folder, with a total of 20 folders available. The results can be transferred to a PC via a USB port using the optional software. SCAN mode measures several times per second and displays the lowest value on the screen. This function helps locate the thinnest point in the material. The meter is calibrated using the calibration probe supplied with the instrument. A contact gel is used between the probe and the target. The Sauter TN is supplied in a plastic box. The delivery includes a 7MHz / 6 mm probe, one bottle of contact gel, and batteries (2x 1.5V AA).
