Paine: ≤350 bar (up to 1,000 bar has been used)
Temperature: -30 °C ... +200 °C
Speed: ≤10 m/s
Medium: Hydraulic fluids
Materials
1. Hardened steel, hardness approx. 62 Rockwell
2. NBR elastomer
Installation
The seal is pressed into the groove with a simple tool
Advantages
- Low friction
- Very long service life (many times more than traditionally)
- Small holes can be passed over while pressurised
- Imperfections in the shape of the cylinder tube do not affect the tightness
- The guides last longer because the seal “improves” the surface smoothness of the cylinder tube
- Not sensitive to impurities
