A hose break valve will stop cylinder movement in case of hoses breaking. In a normal situation, the hose break valve allows flow in both directions. If there is a hose break, the flow from the cylinder increases, increasing pressure difference over the hose break valve, which closes the valve and stops the cylinder. Hose break valve cartridges can be mounted directly into cylinder port or separate frame.

The cartridges are adjustable between G1/4” minimum 3 l/min and G3/4” maximum 150 l/min.
