The lamp can be installed as a direct replacement for HQL lamps. When replacing metal halide (HCI/HQI) or high-pressure sodium lamps (NAV), the ignitors in the luminaire must be bypassed at a minimum. We also recommend verifying that the luminaire can support the weight of the new LED lamp.
