- Applications: General material in mechanical engineering. Used in parts that are exposed to friction, rolling or impact loads. Gears, drive wheels, sprockets, rack and pinion gears, slide rails, bearings, clutch parts, scrapers, screws, sealing rings, eccentrics and other general machine parts.
Properties: This material offers an optimal combination of mechanical strength, stiffness, hardness, toughness, damping properties and wear resistance. These properties, together with good electrical insulation properties and good chemical resistance, make PA 6 an excellent general-purpose material for mechanical engineering and maintenance.
- Chemical resistance: pH range 4-12, good resistance to oils, fuels and solvents
- UV resistance: Good
