Polycarbonate has very good impact resistance and excellent mechanical strength in the -40 … +120 °C temperature range.

Easy to process, good electrical insulation and good fire classification. The most common uses of polycarbonate are safety glass, machine and equipment guards, vehicle and boat glass, construction industry, noise barriers and the electronics industry.
