- Applications: sliding and wear surfaces, insulating parts, seals, scraper blades, guides, etc.
- Properties: excellent material for wear resistance and particle-induced abrasion (abrasive wear), excellent sliding properties, very good electrical insulation properties (also available in antistatic and electrically conductive grades), very good impact resistance even at temperatures as low as -200 °C.
- Chemical resistance: pH range approx. 1-13, generally very good chemical resistance
- UV resistance: poor
