Objective: Equips trainees with the skills for safe movement on a pole, work positioning, and rescuing a workmate from a pole. Content: - Selecting the right equipment and using it safely - Approaching the site and work positioning - Basic principles of pole rescue and practice - More detailed content will be determined as the pole type is specified (wooden pole or lattice pole) Can also be arranged as advanced training, with content such as: - Movement using rope access methods - Advanced module on partner rescue - Broadening rescue preparedness to suit a range of environments |
