Details
Pinions can be used to transmit torque between axles or to convert it into linear motion. The rack and pinion teeth are used for the transmission.

Properties:
- Modules: 1–8
- Hub pinion with a 20° pressure angle
- Material C45
- DIN 782
- Can also be supplied machined according to specific drawings or customer requests

Markings:
- Module = the distance between the centre of a tooth and the centre of the tooth next to it (M1=p, M2=2xM1, M3=3xM1 etc.)
- B = tooth width
- A = total width
- de = top diameter
- dp = pitch diameter
- dm = boss diameter
- D1 = diameter for pre-drilling
