PTFE is an ideal choice when you need high chemical resistance, heat resistance, good gliding properties and electrical insulating properties. Applications include seals, sleeves, and insulation films. PTFE is widely used in e.g. chemical and food industries. Properties: - Color: off-white - Retains its mechanical properties even in high temperature - Very low friction coefficient - Excellent weather-resistance and ageing properties - Does not absorb water - Excellent electrical properties - Poor wear resistance - Low mechanical resistance - Cold creeping - Resistant to almost all chemicals - Excellent UV resistance - Food-safe Available formats: Sheets, films, tubes, rods, and machined items. Also available with alloyed additives (glass, charcoal, graphite, bronze, MoS2, steel) and etched formats. Etra Enfineering Plastics Intermediate goods are finished with the manufacturer's standard allowances. More precise dimensions or fits can only be achieved by machining.
