PTO-generator 40 kVA / 32 kW

The PTO (Power Take-Off) generator 40 kVA / 32 kW is a tractor-driven PTO generator that provides continuous power of 40 kVA / 32 kW. The unit is designed for farms, maintenance tools, construction sites, and backup power applications where reliable and easily portable power generation from a tractor is required. For optimal performance, a tractor power output of approximately 80 hp is recommended, with a power take-off speed of 430-450 rpm (equivalent to an engine speed of approximately 1500 rpm). The generator has the option to connect to both the field (IT grid) and the building power grid (TN grid). This allows both mobile field use and backup power supply to the building. Insulation monitoring is available for field use, which improves electrical safety. In building use, it is protected by a full-phase protection circuit breaker.

Safety features include automatic safety shutdown, large indicator lights to facilitate speed control (a so-called "traffic light" function), and frequency and voltage display for real-time monitoring. The unit also features an hour meter to facilitate monitoring of maintenance and operating history. The EZG 40/4 II/TN-S is built on a robust steel frame with forklift pockets for easy transport and a 3-point category 2 suspension for stable attachment to the tractor.

The generator is made in Germany and meets the requirements of the Agricultural Employer’s Liability Insurance Association (DGUV), which meets the requirements of Finnish occupational safety standards.
