The blade is made of high-carbon steel (HCS). It is a material resistant to bending and is therefore best suited for cutting softer materials such as softwood, soft plastics, and wood fiberboards. This blade features an extremely sharp Japanese tooth design. These teeth have a cutting edge at the front, back, and top of the tooth.
