The new Makita robot vacuum cleaner DRC300Z, equipped with a HEPA filter, is an excellent assistant for cleaning large industrial halls, warehouses, workshops, or even sports halls. The machine has a cleaning area of 600 m² with two 18V 6.0Ah batteries.

A new feature of the DRC300Z model is the so-called Mapping function, where the area to be vacuumed is defined in an instant using an application that can be downloaded to a smartphone. Six ultrasonic sensors, a camera, a collision guard, and a new LiDAR sensor that measures distances with a laser continuously scan the environment to be vacuumed. In Mapping mode, the robot vacuums the area systematically, point by point, and the vacuumed area is stored in the machine's memory. The machine can store up to five different areas or rooms at a time. There is also a so-called free movement option, where the vacuum moves randomly within the area. The machine automatically returns to a pre-defined starting point when cleaning is complete or when the battery level is low.

With the main brush located at the bottom of the device and two side brushes, the machine collects even difficult dust and dirt into its 3-liter suction tank, which is easy to empty. The brushes can be changed effortlessly without tools. A remote control is also included, allowing the machine to be operated. An optional magnetic tape is available for manually defining the vacuuming area. Base version without batteries and charger.
