Rotex couplings are torsionally flexible jaw couplings with a wide range of potential applications. Rotex couplings are one of the most widely-used flexible couplings for machine assembly, for instance. They effectively dampen vibrations and shocks during operation and can compensate for axial, radial and angular misalignment of the connected shafts. Rotex couplings are compact, lightweight and possess a low moment of inertia despite high torques.

Properties:
- Up to 35,000 Nm rated torque capacity
- Hub materials: aluminium (Al), steel (St) and cast iron (GJL)
- We stock a large variety of hubs in cylindrical bore, taper lock and tapered bore configurations.
- Elements available in different hardness levels, the most common are 92 ShA, 98 ShA and 64 ShD
- Available as a backlash-free version (marking GS) for e.g. servo use.
- Also available with tens of other specialised structures for different applications, e.g. with spacers of different lengths to accommodate larger shaft spacing
- A complete coupling consists of an elastic element and two hubs (to be considered as separate components when ordering)
