TORX PLUS bits designed for TORX PLUS screws. Compared to the standard TORX® profile, the splines that transmit torque to the screw head are elliptical instead of round. This means that the force applied during fastening is distributed over a larger surface area than usual. High torques can be applied, resulting in a longer lifespan for both the screw and the tool.
