This MAX version is designed for users with larger-than-average head sizes and those who wish to wear thicker winter headgear or helmet hoods. Suitable for head circumferences of 60-66 cm, with additional adjustable sizing for height and neck angle (for comparison, the standard Zenith X Air is 52-63 cm). Designed for industry, construction, rescue use, etc. Suitable for intensive jobs where heat can be an issue. It is possible to attach various eye and face protection accessories quickly thanks to the EasyClick quick-release system. There is a dedicated slot for name tags or headlamp attachments without straps. Easy-to-use integrated side fasteners for securely attaching headlamps with a forehead strap. At the back, there are additional grooves for conveniently carrying corded earplugs so they are readily accessible. The sides have notches for cup-style earmuffs. On the inner back side, there are attachment points for various neck protectors, and an identification sticker for the user's name and phone number is pre-installed on the outside. The outer shell is made from HD Polypropylene, making it lightweight and boasts excellent shock-absorbing properties, particularly in colder temperatures. The shell is also more durable than traditional materials and easier to clean. The material of the inner honeycomb structure: Neopor Ccycled EPS; expanded HD Polystyrene made from chemically recycled plastic waste. This lowers the carbon footprint by about 90% compared to regular Neopor EPS material. Provides a high level of protection and better shock-absorbing characteristics than harness-structured helmets. The internal structure protects the head with D-Core dual-material technology: The high-density upper section shields against specific overhead threats, while the low-density material against the head offers comprehensive protection from impacts from other directions. This level of protection can’t be achieved, for example, with harness-structured helmets. Minimizing contact areas on the head and the air channels between the honeycomb and shell enhance comfort. The harness secures the helmet in place even in challenging work positions. Thanks to extensive harness adjustments, it maintains good compatibility with hearing protection. The area around the chin features an eco-leather, hypoallergenic, washable cover that provides exceptional comfort and prevents skin irritation. The adjustment conforms to head shapes, allowing the headband to perfectly fit around the nape of the neck. The chinstrap has a Ring To Hook loop, enabling the helmet to be attached to work clothing or a gear bag when not in use. The padding is made from DRY+ material, containing an antibacterial silver ion treatment that keeps the helmet fresher. It effectively wicks moisture, ensuring comfort throughout the workday and dries extremely quickly. The orange color of the chinstrap buckle indicates that this model has been tested to protect the head according to the following test methods: Mandatory requirements of EN 397 standard: 5.1.1. Impact attenuation from falling single objects (5 kg from a height of 1 m) 5.1.2. Protection against penetration by single objects 5.1.3. Flame resistance 5.1.4. Chin strap retention must withstand a 15 daN (kg) pull and release by no more than 25 daN (kg). Voluntary requirements of EN 397 standard: 5.2.1. Protection in cold temperatures (-30 C) 5.2.4. Lateral compression protection (LD) 5.2.5. Molten metal splash protection (MM) Additionally, it protects following the specific test methods of the EN 12492 standard: 4.1.4. Ventilation testing 4.2.1.1 Impact attenuation from falling objects from over a meter (5 kg from 2 m height) 4.2.1.2 Front impact testing (5 kg from a distance of 0.5 m) 4.2.1.3 Side impact testing (5 kg from a distance of 0.5 m) 4.2.1.4 Rear impact testing (5 kg from a distance of 0.5 m) 4.2.2. Protection against multiple penetrating objects (3 kg sharp weight from 1 m height 2x) All Kask helmets also protect against rotational impact-induced head injuries based on the Rotational Impact WG11 testing methods grounded in ECE 22.06 standard. Helmets are tested over impacts applied from various angles. Kask has defined pass/fail criteria based on the general BrIC - Brain Injury Criterion - value. The risk of brain injuries increases when the “brick” value exceeds the threshold of 0.68. A lower number corresponds to a lower risk of injury. All Kask helmets have a BrIC value of less than 0.39. Maximum lifetime is 10 years. Weight: 570 g. Material and manufacturing defect warranty for 3 years. Certification: EN 397. CE. Country of manufacture: Italy.
