Kern DBS 60-3 is a high-quality moisture analyzer designed for demanding moisture percentage determinations in laboratories and industry. It is also suitable for materials with low moisture content. The operation of the analyzer is based on a precise scale and heating element. The material to be measured is heated on the scale, while the weight reduction of the material is monitored simultaneously. When the weight stops decreasing, the reduced weight is compared to the original weight to determine the moisture percentage of the original material. Process parameters can be controlled using the keyboard and display. Frequently used processes and results from moisture determinations can be stored in internal memory. Settings and results can be password protected. The delivery of the device includes a power cord, 50 aluminum sample plates, tongs for handling hot plates, 2 spare fuses, a hexagonal wrench for maintenance, display/keyboard protective film, quick guide for the user menu, and user manuals.
