Sika Primer 209D is a solvent-based black primer that reacts with moisture to form a thin film on the surface.
This film acts as a link between the adhesive and the surface to be bonded, aimed at improving the adhesion of the glue or paint.

The product is specifically designed for use as a pre-treatment agent before applying Sika's 1-component polyurethanes.
Sika Primer 209D is used to enhance adhesion to various plastics and paints, such as fiberglass coating, epoxy resins, PVC, ABS, PMMA, PC, PS, acrylics, and powder coatings.

Test the suitability of Sika Primer 209D on the surface to be bonded or painted before use.
The surface to be treated must be clean and dry before applying Sika Primer 209D.
