Storage unit Li-Ion 90min

This fire safety container is specifically designed for the safe storage and handling of lithium-ion batteries. It operates as an approved complete system that endures fire for at least 90 minutes from both inside and outside (REI 90). The structure of the container allows it to be placed directly against a building's outer wall or inside a fire-rated area of the production facility without the need for separate safety distances.

The construction consists of hot-dip galvanized steel and fire-protected insulation panels (Class A, non-combustible material). The base features a tested cast collection basin with galvanized removable grid plates, load capacity up to 1,000 kg/m². The door is fire-rated (EI₂ 90-C) and its operation is ensured through closure and locking mechanisms. It’s easy to add accessories to the container, such as ventilation, shelves, lighting, and extinguishing systems based on requirements.

This battery storage is designed for the legal storage of new, defective, or decommissioned lithium batteries of all sizes. It is versatile and suitable for any workplace and industry. The model offers a safe and approved space that meets strict fire safety and storage requirements. Inspected as a whole system according to IBS certification, it is approved for 90 minutes of fire protection (REI 90) from both inside and outside. The fire safety container operates as its own fire compartment, allowing the container to be placed freely without safety distances even indoors. It can be equipped at the time of ordering with, for example, heating, air conditioning, lighting, and extinguishing systems. These fire safety containers manufactured in Finland have been awarded the Key Flag Symbol and are fully customizable in size and equipment. Long-term corrosion protection is provided by the galvanized base material and high-quality 2K painting, with the frame made of hot-dip galvanized base material.
