Marking rules are multifunctional measuring instruments designed to combine measuring and marking in one tool. They are particularly suitable for situations where, after taking a measurement, immediate marking or drawing a cutting line is required, thereby speeding up work and minimizing the need for separate tools. The marking rules can measure both internal and external lengths and, depending on the model, are also suitable for measuring diameters such as pipes. Many models have marking tips or a scribe function that allows straight lines, circles, or cutting materials such as plasterboard directly from the rule. The range includes marking rules of different lengths to suit a wide variety of installation, construction, and finishing jobs. Typically, the rules are equipped with an automatic locking system that holds the tape out during measurement and releases it in a controlled manner using a rewind button. The durable steel tape and durable housing ensure reliable operation in daily professional use. The marking rules generally meet the requirements of accuracy class II, making them well suited for general construction and installation measurements where reliable but practical accuracy is required. Typical Applications - Construction and installation work - Plasterboard and sheet work - Measurement of pipes and diameters - Measuring and marking with one tool - Drawing circles and arcs with the scribe function. |
