tesa® 4591 is a general-purpose bidirectional filament tape based on glass filaments laminated to a polyester film backing. The tape is used for industrial bundling, palletizing, and various fixing applications. tesa® 4591 combines high longitudinal tensile strength with very low elongation. The synthetic rubber adhesive ensures reliable adhesion to a wide range of substrates, including non-polar surfaces such as PE and PP. tesa® 4591 provides very good and fast adhesion, quickly reaching its final bond strength. The tape also adheres well to various corrugated board and carton surfaces. tesa® 4591 is tear-resistant.
