tesa® 64958 is a white, double-sided general-purpose mounting tape with a PE foam backing and synthetic rubber adhesive. tesa® 64958 is best suited for indoor use. The PE foam adapts well to irregular surfaces and can compensate for different thermal expansions. The foam tape adheres immediately with minimal installation pressure and reliably bonds to low surface energy materials as well. This foam tape provides great shock absorption and impact resistance. Thanks to the high tack of the synthetic rubber adhesive, it achieves strong final adhesive strength quickly. tesa® 64958 is suitable for a variety of applications, most commonly for light bonding, installation, and damping.
