The traditional use of weights has been phased out with the digitalization of scales. Today, weights are used as test weights to monitor, adjust, and calibrate digital scales.

In companies, test weights are utilized for the self-monitoring of weighing quality according to the requirements of the company's quality system. The international standard OIML R111:2004 classifies weights hierarchically into accuracy classes E1, E2, F1, F2, M1, M2, and M3, with E1 being the most precise.

E1 For the most demanding applications. When the scale has steps over 1,000,000
E2 Most analytical and precision scales that have steps over 100,000
F1 Several precision scales and high-resolution scales with steps below 100,000
F2 High-resolution scales with steps below 30,000
M1 Industrial and commercial scales with steps below 10,000

The number of steps for a scale can be easily calculated by dividing the capacity by the step value d (reading accuracy). We supply weights either individually or as complete sets in all accuracy classes.
E1 – F2 1 mg – 50 kg
M1 1 mg – 2000 kg

In our shop, you can find a few standard models in E2, F1, and M1 classes as well as an example set in each class. The weights are always delivered with authorized calibration, and a calibration certificate accompanies them.
