The FLIR E5 Pro is a durable and straightforward thermal camera for daily use in electrical, mechanical, and building technical inspections. It combines clear thermal imaging, reliable measurement technology, and modern cloud-based reporting into an efficient package that speeds up workflow and improves documentation quality. The 160 × 120 pixel IR resolution (19,200 measurement points) and <0.06°C thermal sensitivity allow for the detection of even small temperature differences. The camera is ideally suited, for example, for locating loaded or loose connections, thermal monitoring of motors and bearings, and identifying thermal leaks and moisture damage in buildings.

Clear thermal image with MSX technology. FLIR’s patented MSX (Multi Spectral Dynamic Imaging) technology combines visible light camera details with the thermal image in real-time. The result is a clear and easily interpretable image where structures, cables, and components stand out accurately without altering the thermal data. The 33° optics and fixed focus make the camera fast to use – just point and measure. A spatial resolution (IFOV) of 3.7 mrad supports reliable measurement at standard working distances.

The FLIR E5 Pro offers a measurement range of -20…+400°C across two ranges and an accuracy of ±2°C or ±2%. The camera includes center spot and area measurement (min/max), isotherms, and a Delta T function. Emissivity is adjustable, and reflected temperature and atmospheric effects can be accounted for in the measurement. One-touch temperature scale adjustment (1-Touch Level/Span) optimizes the image's temperature scale based on a selected point. This automatically highlights thermal contrast and brings out small temperature differences without manual adjustment. The feature speeds up inspections and facilitates the identification of fault locations in field conditions. The 3.5-inch 640 × 480 touchscreen allows for management of the entire workflow directly from the camera. Images can be organized, supplemented with notes, and transferred via Wi-Fi directly to the FLIR Ignite™ cloud service. The camera also supports radiometric IR video streaming via USB-C interface, enabling real-time analysis on a computer.
