The FLIR E8 Pro is the highest-performance model in the Ex Pro-series, designed for professionals who require maximum precision, excellent thermal sensitivity, and a wide measurement range for demanding inspections. It is particularly suitable for electrical system analysis, industrial predictive maintenance, mechanical component inspections, and building thermographic surveys. The 320 × 240 pixel IR resolution (76,800 measurement points) and <0.04°C (40 mK @ 30°C) thermal sensitivity enable the detection of extremely subtle temperature differences. This supports early fault identification and precise technical analysis.

Maximum detail – more measurement data. The E8 Pro produces a more detailed thermal image, where small components and thermal anomalies stand out accurately. A spatial resolution (IFOV) of 1.8 mrad allows for reliable measurement of small objects even from longer distances. The 33° optics are suitable for general inspection scenarios, and the fixed focus makes the camera fast to use without manual focus adjustment.

Wide measurement range for high temperatures. The FLIR E8 Pro offers dual-range measurement from -20…+550°C. This enables working with high-temperature targets such as:

The measurement accuracy is ±2°C or ±2%, ensuring a reliable result for professional use. One-touch temperature scale adjustment (1-Touch Level/Span) automatically optimizes the thermal image contrast based on the selected area. This brings out small temperature differences quickly and facilitates the identification of fault locations without manual adjustment. The camera includes center spot and area measurements (min/max), isotherms, a Delta T function, and emissivity and reflected temperature adjustments, enabling precise analysis across various materials and targets.
MSX – combined thermal and visual information: FLIR’s patented MSX technology combines visible light camera details with the thermal image in real-time. Structures, cables, and components stand out clearly, facilitating interpretation and reporting. The 3.5-inch 640 × 480 touchscreen allows for image management, adding notes, and using analysis tools directly in the field.
