Thread sealing tape 12mm/33m PTFE

Professional-grade PTFE thread sealing tape for sealing threaded connections. The tape complies with BS 7786:2006, grade L. It is manufactured from more than 99.9% polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and has a soft, flexible, and compressible structure, allowing controlled installation and even coverage of the threads.

The nominal thickness of the tape is 0.20 mm and the width is 12 mm. The length is 33 m. The material density is approximately 0.35 g/cm³. A minimum of two full wraps around the threaded joint is recommended during installation.

PTFE is chemically inert and resistant to moisture, most chemicals, and a wide temperature range up to approximately +260°C. The material does not react with process fluids, withstands mechanical stress, and is suitable for use in both water and gas applications. The joint can be disassembled and resealed if required.
