The 140 series models provide an accurate and flexible solution for measuring large internal diameters when the measurement range can vary. The extension rod-based measuring system allows the same micrometer to be used for various internal diameters without the need for separate instruments. This model is practical for machine shops, measuring laboratories, and workshops.
