Interchangeable tips are made from 30% carbon-fiber reinforced plastic: very good electrical and thermal conductivity, scratch resistance, and durability. The surface resistance of the interchangeable, carbon-fiber reinforced plastic tips is 10^2–10^4 ohms, compensating for potential differences between the user and electronic components in a controlled manner. The interchangeable tips can withstand prolonged use of up to 130 °C and short-term use of up to 190 °C. Tips made of carbon-fiber reinforced plastic are highly flexible, fatigue-resistant, vibration-dampening, and water-repellent. The tips provide excellent resistance to various chemicals (most oils, lubricants, fuels, and non-polar solvents). The same precision and stability as regular tweezers: the plastic tips have a play-free three-point connection (two fixed points on the arms, one screw), allowing the user to attach them to the frame perfectly without play.
