Twineflon Thread sealing tape 175m

Twineflon® is a patented PTFE monofilament-based thread sealant designed for sealing threaded joints in metal and plastic pipes. The product is specifically intended for mechanical and professional applications. The sealant is made of 100% polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and functions as a dynamic sealant that adapts during installation to the actual clearance of the threaded joint.

During installation, the monofilament is compressed and consolidated into a thin PTFE film that precisely fills the space between the threads. The material does not merely fill the gap but conforms to it. PTFE is chemically inert, contains no additives, and does not affect liquids or gases conveyed in the piping system.

Twineflon® exhibits high resistance to aggressive chemicals, solvents, fuels, gases, and acids. It maintains its functional properties over a wide temperature range from approximately –200°C to +240°C. The material is non-flammable and does not burn. The product has no practical shelf-life limitations and withstands vibration and mechanical stress.

The sealant is supplied in a convenient dispenser, allowing direct application onto the threads without additional tools. Unused material remains protected from dirt and dust for future use.
