Easy to mount for a one-part piston that cannot have any sharp edges.

Tolerances

Advantages
- Small profile
- Good resistance to pressure impact
- Low start-up friction and motion friction, even after long idleness at high pressure
- Easy to install in a one-part piston. No special tools are required, as the seal ring is split.
- Good resistance to wear
- Low risk of penetration into clearances at high pressures; allows large clearances due to the material of the seal ring.
