Vibration dampener 31LV8/40

The LV series vibration dampers absorb vibrations from all directions. Only 0-5% static deflection even after many years of loading. The elasticity of the material remains unchanged for decades.

• Two resonance ranges, horizontal (C) and vertical (D), each range is only approx. 4 Hz.
• The frequency range between the horizontal and vertical resonance ranges offers as good damping as the supercritical (1.5-4.5 Hz) frequency range.
• Full damping is achieved immediately after the vertical resonance range.

The LV series dampers use specially prepared natural rubber (NR) as the damping material. The rubber is 95% pure natural rubber, made from fresh latex and has practically no added chemicals or minerals that can degrade. To prevent static deformation, the rubber is also specially treated. The result is an excellent homogeneous material in which the elasticity and “soul” of natural rubber have not been destroyed.
