Flashback arrestors stops oxygen back flow into the welding gas hose and vice versa caused by faulty equipment or improper use, and therefore prevents the formation of gas mixtures.
Gas mixture in a hose can cause and explosion. Super 55 flashback arrestors feature G3/8” thread and they are suitable for larger torch kits, e.g. X21.
