Thrust roller bearings
Thrust roller bearings are specially designed to withstand significant axial loads. Their cylindrical version is rigid and shock-resistant and suitable for one-way loads, taking up little space. These bearings usually require an individually tailored assembly of separate parts. Likewise one-way, thrust needle bearings consist of several needle rollers in a rigid cage and are both compact and resistant to impulse loading. Spherical thrust roller bearings with their angled roller structure enable self-alignment and withstand both axial and radial loads. They are suitable for bearing very high axle loads and also allow relatively high rotational speeds.
