Calcium gluconate gel 2.5% is intended for first aid of small (tube) and larger (jar) skin lesions caused by hydrofluoric acid. The gel is applied locally to the burn area. It replenishes the body's calcium stores and prevents the harmful effects of fluoride ions. The product is intended for external use only - not for open wounds or eyes.
