The Mitutoyo 2901 series of dial indicators are designed for accurate reference and setting work in machine shops, maintenance, and quality control. The gauges in the series are shock-resistant standard dial indicators with a precise mechanical design and measuring accuracy compliant with DIN 878. All models have a diameter (Ø) 57 mm dial housing and Ø 8 h6 mounting spindle, so they fit directly on standard magnetic feet and measuring stands. The range includes both lug back and flat back models, allowing attachment from the stem or directly from the back to a measuring jig. Another common feature of the 2901 series is the interchangeable standard measuring tip (nr. 901312), which fits all the gauges in the series.
