Mitutoyo magnetic stands

Mitutoyo's magnetic stands are designed for mounting dial gauges and lever dial gauges on machines, jigs, and other metal surfaces during measurements. The stands use a switchable permanent magnet: an ON/OFF switch allows quick attachment and removal without damaging the measuring instrument or the workpiece. The stands are designed for common dial indicator stem diameters (e.g., Ø 8 mm), so they fit directly on most Mitutoyo and other manufacturers' dial indicators.

The range includes several different models for various measuring situations: a basic magnetic base for attachment to the dial indicator's own arm or to a separate arm, standard stands with a vertical arm, models with fine adjustment, flexible arm stands, and universal articulated stands, where the dial indicator can be locked in almost any position. The mini models are compact for confined spaces, while the articulated stands with a longer working range are suitable for measuring over a wider area. Common to all products in this group are strong magnetic force, mechanical locking on the shaft, and secure attachment of the dial gauge, which improves measurement repeatability for applications such as machine setup, throw measurement, and alignment work.
