Fire-resistant collars are designed to prevent fires from propagating across compartments. The fire-resistant collar is a powder coated steel shell with a graphite-based flame retardant that expands in 150°C, crushing the softening plastic tube and shutting down flooring and wall passthroughs, providing fire resistance for up to 4 hours.
