The Mitutoyo 513 series of lever-type dial indicators are specifically designed for the alignment of machines and machine tools and for accurately measuring surfaces and deflection. The lever-type dial indicator enables measurement of areas that are not easily accessible with a normal dial indicator - such as grooves, shoulders, and hard-to-reach surfaces. The series includes models with different measuring ranges and graduations, in both horizontal and vertical versions. They all share a fine mechanical movement with jeweled bearings, a clear and glare-free dial, and a lever that adjusts automatically to the measuring direction, facilitating use in various positions. The models feature standard saddle-type grooves and Ø 8 mm mounting rods, so they fit directly on standard magnetic feet and various holders. Several models are supplied with a basic mounting kit.
